![]() ![]() In hindsight it is so obvious and simple that I feel embarassed I dind't consider it. Then, just yesterday, when desperately challenging the FBT boss again I came across a solution in this youtube video. I tried repositioning my base stations, connecting them with the sync cable, moving the usb dongle, changing usb ports, turning off wi-fi, recalibrating the playspace. I didn't know if it was because of my hacky setup with two vive controllers and one actual tracker, was it some reflective surfaces, defective hardware or whatever. Shortly it became apparent that my waist tracker is drifting quite significantly and even shooting off into the stars taking my torso together with it. I set it all up and it seemed to work well. The idea was to reprogram vive controllers to act like trackers and use them for foot tracking, and then buy one 2.0 tracker for waist tracking. To save money I decided to buy an used, original vive. I wanted to have Full Body Tracking (and run it with rift s), but as everyone knows it's quite expensive, even more so in Europe. I want to share because if it can save even just one person this frustration it's worth it for me. ![]() Hi, I know this is a very specific problem but I tried to solve it for months and just now I found out what the issue was.
